One of my favorite places to visit is the beach in La Jolla, California. There are beautiful cliffs, white sand, and of course, the blue-green water of the ocean. Huge pelicans fly all around and they dive into the water to catch fish. Sea gulls live on the cliffs. Their white wings are easy to see in the blue sky. During low tide (when the water is low), I like to explore the rocks and look for sea creatures. The waves are perfect for swimming or surfing. The water is usually cold, which feels great on a hot summer day. A day at the beach in La Jolla is a perfect way to relax and recover from everyday stress.
