Waiter: Welcome to Molly’s! Do you have a reservation?

Customer 1: Thank you! Yes. It’s under the name of Murphy. Ann Murphy.

Waiter: Ah. A table for three? Here’s your table. Please take a seat. Here are our menus. I’ll be back in a minute to take your order.

(5 minutes later)

Waiter: Are you ready to order or would you like a few more minutes?

Customer 1: I think we are ready, thanks. I’d like the Mixed Board.

Waiter: Any you, sir?

Customer 2: I’ll have the Bruschetta, please. On gluten-free bread.

Waiter: Good. And what can I get for you?

Customer 3: I’d like the Nachos, please.

Waiter: Would you like the meat or vegetarian option? That’s Chili Con Carne or Black Bean Chili.

Customer 3: I’d like the vegetarian Nachos, please. And could I have the sour cream on the side?

Waiter: Yes, certainly. So …I have 1 Mixed Board, 1 Bruschetta on gluten-free bread and 1 Vegetarian Nachos with sour cream on the side. Is that correct?

(customers nod)

Waiter: And can I get you something to drink?

Customer 1: We’ll have bottle of your house white wine, please.

Waiter: Wonderful. Could I get you the Two Tracks Sauvignon Blanc? It’s a New Zealand wine. Or would you prefer the Italian Pinot Grigio?

Customer 1: Ah. The Two Tracks, I think. And a jug of water, please.

Waiter: Great. I’ll be back with your drinks shortly.
